Spirit of the Coolabah Tree
2017
Watercolour, hand cut paper and installation with LED lights
210 x 210cm

Spirit of the Coolabah Tree is an installation with painting, cut-outs and LED lights. Having lived in Sydney for nearly 30 years, my art has naturally reflected my current environment. Although I use ink and rice paper, mediums that I am very familiar with, my expression is a spontaneous response to the Australian landscape. This change is very profound for me because it is a change of sentiment.
